At Arrowhead Louisiana, our Australian Labradoodle puppies, moms, and studs are hand raised by my husband and me in our home (not in a separate kennel setting or outdoors) as our “furbabies” or with guardian families. They are all honestly like kids to us. Each one brings such joy to our lives. Our puppy nurseries were built to incorporate a place to raise our puppies and to allow them to thrive in a proper enriching environment. Our puppies move from their whelping stall to their puppy stall at 4 weeks of age. We expose our puppies beginning at day 3 of life through day 16 to Early Neurological Stimulation & Early Scent Introduction. We also have a daily curriculum with our puppies. Each texture, sound, or exposure item is introduced at the ideal age in days so that we do not overload the puppy’s systems. Puppies begin potty training at 3 weeks of age to a grid system and then outdoors after their first set of vaccines.
We specialize in breeding only the best high-quality Multigenerational Australian Labradoodles with TRUE non-shedding, allergy-friendly, and hypo-allergenic coats. Our puppies make the perfect nurturing and loving family companion pet. It is our mission to ensure each and every Australian Labradoodle produced by us comes from the best breeding stock available. All of our breeding stock are sedated for x-rays to look at their hips, elbows, patellas, and heart. The x-rays are sent off to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals and graded by a team of radiologists. Arrowhead Australian Labradoodles was formed after a lengthy and fond love and obsession with the breed. We chose to start breeding first off because we are absolutely in love with this breed but most importantly to further promote Australian Labradoodles that have excellent health, conformation, and temperament. We operate in a completely latex-free environment.
