- Order Book, Dog Food & NuVet Supplements (found in supply list) at least 2 weeks prior to go home.
- Prepare your home and family for go home day. (See New Puppy Care Handout below for helpful tips).
- Sign up for ALAA Pet Pals and WALA Pet Society. You will obtain your pedigree directly from them once you provide your proof of spay/neuter to me. Handouts below from both Breed Clubs.
- Training – Decide if you want to train yourself or utilize Arrowhead Academy.
- Baxter & Bella is a train at your own pace program that you use in your spare time! To save 25% off of the total cost, use code: ARROWHEAD!
- Arrowhead Academy is $500 per week for a minimum of 4 weeks. Inquire ASAP if you are interested because slots fill up quickly.
- Travel Arrangements for Pick Up Day: Local Airport is MLU. We also deliver to SHV for no fee. All other travel is subject to mileage/time. Additional boarding is available if you are unable to pick up your puppy on go home day.
- Schedule your first vet visit for within 3 business days of go home for basic wellness check (no shots) and for the next shot due date. Inquire for exact details on date needed.

Heartworm meds – this is what you will tell the vet you want to use. They should give you a free sample. You will buy from them until your pup is the minimum pound on the box. Then you can order through Chewy. You will put in your vet’s info and they will send the RX request to Chewy for you. Then you get it cheaper and delivered to your door.
